Roasted Chickpeas

Chickpeas are packed with protein, and their mild flavor means you can make them sweet or salty. To make them, drain, rinse and dry a can of chickpeas, then roast them at 375˚F for 45-50 minutes or until the beans are crunchy. Toss with olive oil and seasonings of your choice while still hot. Modern Parents Messy Kids has some great seasoning recipes for sesame soy, honey cinnamon, garlic parmesan and smoky spice blend roasted chickpeas.
