Beyond the peel- Grapefruit Avocado Ginger Smoothie

As a fruit smoothie lover, I tend to be skeptical of smoothies containing ingredients like spinach and kale.  Beyond the Peel‘s recipe for a Grapefruit Avocado and Ginger smoothie, however, is an inspiration to go green, literally.  This smoothie is packed with ingredients that are full of nutrients and can serve as the perfect breakfast to give you enough energy to start the day. This recipe is also customizable, and you can add ingredients such as cinnamon and turmeric to change up the flavor and type of nutrients in your smoothie.  Happy blending!
