This dish puts a spicy twist on the standard pasta bolognese. It gets its heat from the smoked chipotle peppers in Giada’s Spicy Arrabbiata pasta sauce and a little bit of chili powder. Try it for a weeknight dinner that comes together in about 30 minutes!

Fusilli Col Buco with Spicy Bolognese Sauce

Makes 8 servings

1 box Giada De Laurentiis Fusilli Col Buco (or 1 lb. pasta of your choice)
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 lbs. ground beef or turkey
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 jars Giada De Laurentiis Spicy Arrabbiata sauce
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add onions and garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes or until onions are tender. Add ground beef, basil, oregano, chili powder, salt and pepper and stir to combine. Continue cooking over medium heat until meat is thoroughly browned. Stir in pasta sauce and cheese; cook for an additional 5 minutes. Serve over pasta and top with more grated Parmesan.
