We LOVE What I Ate Wednesday, a weekly food diary “party” hosted by one of our favorite bloggers, Jenn of Peas and Crayons. What I Wish I Ate Wednesday is Healthy Way to Cook’s roundup of the best What I Ate Wednesday posts from the previous week.

Before I talk about my favorite posts from last week, I wanted to give you my own “WIAW” because it’s just too good not to share!  I finally went down to the flagship Chobani store in SoHo with my friends/fellow bloggers Talia (Bite Size Wellness), Pamela (Redesign Revolution), and Mustafah (Haute Talk). It was every bit as amazing as I’d heard it was! It’s really reasonably priced (about $4 a person) and they have some incredible toppings combinations. It was really hard to pick just one—I ended up getting fig and walnut—but luckily I have nice friends who share their food. 🙂 Next time I go, I think I want to try one of the savory flavors with pita chips (looking at you, cucumbers and mint!). I really love that you get to keep the little glass bowl your yogurt comes in, too.

Okay. Now that I’ve sufficiently gushed about Chobani, on to the link love:

Carissa, one half of the husband-wife team behind Fit 2 Flex, says she usually only remembers to take pictures of half of her meals, but the ones she did share look absolutely wonderful (like her kale/asparagus salad with chicken, strawberries and goat cheese). She also noticed she’s been relying on carb-heavy convenience foods like bars lately, which are okay in a pinch but not great as a diet staple. At least they’re healthy bars like Luna—some other brands are really terrible for you with all their sugars and preservatives!

Along with pictures of her healthy meals, Amanda of Friday Love Song posted recipes for her overnight banana pudding oats and a no-bake chocolate protein cookie, both of which are ridiculously easy to make! Her “summer staples” for the week included home-brewed iced coffee and a melon smoothie.

Savvy Sassy Me’s Kacie shared her recipe for an oats and berries breakfast. With ingredients like chia and flax seeds and almond milk, it’s as healthy as it is delicious. I love the veggie-packed grilled chicken pita sandwich she ordered. You know you’re definitely doing something right when you get charged for extra vegetables!

RC from Just Add Cayenne hosted a great giveaway in his WIAW post for Artisana Organic Nut Butters, his new summer staple. He was able to incorporate tons of different butters like cashew, almond and coconut into his meals for the day, including a microwave cinnamon protein bread that I’d really love to try out! By the way, his giveaway for an 8-ounce jar of any Artisana nut butter and assorted squeeze packs is open until Friday the 17th, so enter for your chance to win!

Keep those great WIAW posts coming!
