Is there a better flavor combination than sweet and salty? Not really. These protein-packed pancakes from Veggin’ Out in the Kitchen look like absolute perfection. Alex made salted chocolate peanut pretzel pancakes that look like foodie heaven. She hasn’t posted the recipe yet but let’s just say the second she does, we’ll be in the kitchen trying to replicate them. Yum!
An ooey gooey, melty grilled cheese sounds amazing right now, doesn’t it? This grilled cheese from Sydney at Just Water Please is anything but a boring old grilled cheese. It’s a Wisconsin cheddar grilled cheese toasted to absolute perfection and filled with, wait for it… blackberry jam. What? It sounds a little weird at first, but the picture is hypnotically good. Stare at it a little longer, and any thoughts of weirdness disappear. Sign us up for a serving!
Watermelon salad is all the rage lately, but can we talk about how beautiful this cubed salad from Molly at The Happiness Recipe is? Complete with juicy red tomatoes, avocados, red onions and cheese, it just screams fresh and yummy.
This one pot pasta from Food Wine Thyme is perfect for the lazy but healthy chef in all of us. As Kathy puts it, “It’s simple, but so flavorful.” Simple but flavorful is the best kind of cooking. We’ll definitely be trying this one soon.
